About Richard

As the child of a British ex-serviceman & an exiled Eastern European from Prague in the midst of the Cold War, Richard had the right foundation to become an international spy. However, always keen to share great secrets he learns, that career was never a viable option.

Instead, Richard spent 30 years being ‘parachuted in’ to countless well known international companies to rescue them from disaster, or to guarantee success of complex missions.

Richard likes to get the most out of life; a former Team GB High & Springboard Diving athlete, a C-Level career with many big names like HSBC, Adidas, & Formula 1, an author, speaker, scuba diver, pilot, skier, open-water swimmer & keen social entrepreneur. He often says if we only have 1 life, why not try to live 3, always gaining experiences & skills, & some great stories along the way!

After having his first solo book published in the late 2000's, Richard took his experience of working in the field of publishing, and the long and challenging processes of getting his book in print, to create a formula for helping writers to become authors.

Following an online networking introduction to Wendy during the lockdown years, a joint venture became an obvious way to bring Publishing to the masses, combined with his passion for changing the world for the better. And so Publishing for Good was born.

About Wendy

Her business was to enable others to express themselves, in some ways, similar to her career as a speech therapist, and in other ways a far cry from it, helping people with voices to express them in words that had the power to transform their audience.

Wendy built her reputation on guiding authors to find clarity, authenticity, and impact in their writing. With a natural ability to draw out the heart of a message, she turned ideas into books that not only told stories but also created meaningful change.

Passionate about making publishing accessible and empowering, Wendy became a trusted ally for writers who might otherwise have struggled to navigate the journey to authorship.

When she and Richard connected during the lockdown years, it quickly became clear that their visions aligned. Both wanted to make publishing simpler, more affordable, and more powerful as a tool for good. That shared commitment led to the creation of Publishing for Good—a place where writers become authors, and books become catalysts for impact.
